It\u2019s something we get asked for, a lot! We always have done.\nUnfortunately, it is not something we currently offer. But I do think I can\nhelp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I own two horses, I\u2019m fully aware they are time consuming\nand certainly not cheap. Horse riding is not an easy sport, and I understand\nthat people need support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yes, it is true that if you don\u2019t ask you don\u2019t get. But as\na business owner, when I get 15 notifications saying someone has just liked 15\nof my posts in a minute and then sends me a message asking for sponsorship, I\ndo know that you haven\u2019t actually tried our products or service. Don\u2019t like\nsomeone\u2019s Instagram and then message them saying \u201cI love your products\u201d. Hmmm,\npretty sure you didn\u2019t even know who I was until a minute ago when you found my\npage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When approaching a company for sponsorship, make sure you\nknow their product, you have used it \u2013 you can tell them what you appreciate\nabout them. Don\u2019t be generic, stand out! If I read an email saying I love x\nproduct because it\u2019s a, b and c, I\u2019m impressed and ready to talk more with you.\nIf you message me and tell me you love my products, be prepared to tell me what\nyou love and why. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Use social media to help you \u2013 tag those companies that you\npurchased your bridle off, tag the company whose boots you ride in. They\u2019ll\nnotice you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sponsorship is not about getting yourself some freebies;\nit\u2019s about helping each other. Yes, that company can help you by providing\nproducts you need, but you can help them. If you\u2019re not willing to work with\npeople, and help the business that sponsors you, then there\u2019s no point. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I would be more than happy to read your sponsorship requests\nfor other companies, so please feel free to ask me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grab that company\u2019s attention! Tell them what you do love\nabout them. Maybe even show them that you or your horse has used their product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But also tell them more about you. Do you have any social\nmedia? What following do you have? What horses do you have? Do you show jump,\nevent, show etc? Photos of this don\u2019t harm anyone. Promote you and definitely\nyour horses!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s hard getting sponsorship, I understand, but honestly\ndon\u2019t just randomly message every business. Send them a message that connects\nwith them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
